About surah information
This resource holds background reading for each surah: its main themes and topics, the circumstances
of its revelation, a summary, and other context that helps a reader place the surah.
It is available in several languages, as SQLite, CSV and
JSON. Some languages ship two versions — a short summary and a longer article.
The long version contains HTML tags for headings, paragraphs and emphasis, so render it as HTML
rather than as plain text.
