( فَلَوْلاَ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ ) أى : فهلا إن كنتم غير عاجزين عن رد قضائنا فى هذا المحتضر الحبيب إليكم ، وغير مربوبين لنا ، وخاضعين لسلطاننا . . يقال : دان السلطان الرعية ، إذا ساسهم وأخضعهم لنفوذه .
