Commentary explaining the meaning of the ayahs. One passage often covers several ayahs, so neighbouring ayahs can show the same text.
وكنا - أيضا - فى الدنيا نخوض فى الأقوال السيئة وفى الأفعال الباطلة مع الخائضين فيها ، دون أن نتورع عن اجتناب شئ منها .
وأصل الخوض : الدخول فى الماء ، ثم استعير للجدال الباطل ، وللأحاديث التى لا خير من ورائها .
