( وَإِذَا السمآء كُشِطَتْ ) أى : قلعت وأزيلت ، وأصل الكشط إزالة جلدة الحيوان عنه . يقال : كشطت البعير كشطا ، إذا نزعت جلده منه . أى : وإذا السماء نزعت وأزيلت ، فلم تبق على هيئتها التى كانت عيها ، من إظلالها لما تحتها .
