﴿إِنَّ لَكَ فِي النَّهَارِ سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا﴾ أَيْ: تَصَرُّفًا وَتَقَلُّبًا وَإِقْبَالًا وَإِدْبَارًا فِي حَوَائِجِكَ وَأَشْغَالِكَ، وَأَصْلُ "السَّبْحِ" سُرْعَةُ الذَّهَابِ، وَمِنْهُ السِّبَاحَةُ فِي الْمَاءِ وَقِيلَ: "سَبْحًا طَوِيلًا" أَيْ: فَرَاغًا وَسِعَةً لِنَوْمِكَ وَتَصَرُّفِكَ فِي حَوَائِجِكَ فَصَلِّ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ.
وَقَرَأَ يَحْيَى بْنُ يَعْمُرُ "سَبْخًا" بِالْخَاءِ الْمُعْجَمَةِ أَيْ: اسْتِرَاحَةً وَتَخْفِيفًا لِلْبَدَنِ، وَمِنْهُ قَوْلُ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ لِعَائِشَةَ، وَقَدْ دَعَتْ عَلَى سَارِقٍ: "لَا تُسَبِّخِي عَنْهُ بِدُعَائِكِ عَلَيْهِ" [[أخرجه أبو داود في الصلاة، باب الدعاء: ٢ / ١٤٥، والمصنف في شرح السنة: ٥ / ١٥٤ قال الأرناؤوط: "وحبيب بن أبي ثابت كثير التدليس، وقد عنعن وبقية رجاله ثقات".]] [أَيْ: لَا تُخَفِّفِي] [[زيادة من "أ".]] .

<i>, etc.

Tafsir content may span multiple ayahs. QUL exports both the tafsir text and the ayahs it applies to.
