آیت 7{ وَالسَّمَآئَ رَفَعَہَا وَوَضَعَ الْمِیْزَانَ۔ } ”اور آسمان کو اس نے بلند کیا اور میزان قائم کی۔“ یہاں میزان سے مراد کائناتی نظام کے اندر پایا جانے والا مربوط اور خوبصورت توازن cosmic balance ہے جس کی وجہ سے یہ کائنات قائم ہے۔ یہ توازن تمام اجرامِ سماویہ کے اندر موجود کشش ثقل gravitational force کی وجہ سے قائم ہے۔ تمام اجرامِ فلکی اس کشش کی وجہ سے آپس میں بندھے ہوئے ہیں۔ قدرت کی طرف سے ہر ُ کرے ّکا دوسرے کرے سے فاصلہ ‘ اس کی کشش کی طاقت کی نسبت سے رکھا گیا ہے۔ اگر کہیں یہ فاصلہ ایک طرف سے معمولی سا کم ہوجائے اور دوسری طرف سے معمولی سا بڑھ جائے تو یہ سارا نظام تلپٹ ہوجائے اور تمام کرے آپس میں ٹکرا جائیں۔ اس طرح اللہ تعالیٰ نے اس کائنات کی تمام چیزوں میں ایک توازن قائم کر رکھا ہے۔
