إِنَّا بَلَوۡنَٰهُمۡ كَمَا بَلَوۡنَآ أَصۡحَٰبَ ٱلۡجَنَّةِ إِذۡ أَقۡسَمُواْ لَيَصۡرِمُنَّهَا مُصۡبِحِينَ ١٧

আমি তাদেরকে পরীক্ষা করেছি,[১] যেভাবে পরীক্ষা করেছিলাম বাগানের মালিকদেরকে,[২] যখন তারা শপথ করল যে, তারা ভোর-সকালে তুলে আনবে বাগানের ফল, [৩]

[১] 'তাদেরকে' বলতে মক্কাবাসীকে বুঝানো হয়েছে। অর্থাৎ, আমি তাদেরকে ধন-মাল দান করেছিলাম। যাতে তারা আল্লাহর কৃতজ্ঞতা জ্ঞাপন করে, কুফরী ও অহংকার করার জন্য নয়। কিন্তু তারা কুফরী এবং অহংকারের পথ অবলম্বন করেছিল। ফলে আমি তাদেরকে দুর্ভিক্ষ ও অনাবৃষ্টি দিয়ে পরীক্ষা করি। নবী (সাঃ)-এর অভিশাপের কারণে তাতে তারা কিছু দিন ভুগেছিল।

[২] বাগানওয়ালাদের ঘটনা আরবদের মাঝে প্রসিদ্ধ ছিল। এই বাগানটি (ইয়ামানের) সানআ' থেকে দুই ফারসাখ (৬ মাইল) দূরত্বে অবস্থিত ছিল। বাগানের মালিক তা হতে উৎপন্ন ফল-মূল থেকে গরীব মিসকীনদের উপরও খরচ করত। কিন্তু তার মৃত্যুর পর যখন তার সন্তানরা তার উত্তরাধিকারী হল, তখন তারা বলল যে, এ থেকে আমাদের সংসারের খরচই তো কোন রকম বের হয়। তাই আমরা বাগানের উপার্জিত ফসল হতে গরীব ও অভাবীদেরকে কিরূপে দান করব? সুতরাং মহান আল্লাহ সেই বাগানটিকে ধ্বংস করে দিলেন। বলা হয় যে, এই ঘটনা ঈসা (সাঃ)-কে আসমানে উঠিয়ে নেওয়ার কিছু দিন পর ঘটেছিল। (ফাতহুল ক্বাদীর) বিস্তারিত এই আলোচনা তফসীর গ্রন্থের বর্ণনার ভিত্তিতে উল্লেখ করা হয়।

[৩] صَرْمٌ এর অর্থ হল ফল তোলা, ফসল কাটা। مُصْبِحِيْنَ শব্দটি হল হাল (ক্রিয়া বিশেষণ)। অর্থাৎ, ভোর-সকালেই ফল তুলে ফেলব এবং ফসলাদি কেটে নেব।

QUL supports exporting tafsir content in both JSON and SQLite formats. Tafsir text may include <html> tags for formatting such as <b>, <i>, etc.

  • Keys in the JSON are "ayah_key" in "surah:ayah", e.g. "2:3" means 3rd ayah of Surah Al-Baqarah.
  • The value of ayah key can either be:
    • an object — this is the main tafsir group. It includes:
      • text: the tafsir content (can include HTML)
      • ayah_keys: an array of ayah keys this tafsir applies to
    • a string — this indicates the tafsir is part of a group. The string points to the ayah_key where the tafsir text can be found.

SQLite exports includes the following columns

  • ayah_key: the ayah for which this record applies.
  • group_ayah_key: the ayah key that contains the main tafsir text (used for shared tafsir).
  • from_ayah / to_ayah: start and end ayah keys for convenience (optional).
  • ayah_keys: comma-separated list of all ayah keys that this tafsir covers.
  • text: tafsir text. If blank, use the text from the group_ayah_key.
