‘তারপর তাকে শৃংখলিত কর এমন এক শেকলে যার দৈর্ঘ্য হবে সত্তর হাত’ [১] ,
[১] অর্থাৎ ফেরেশ্তাদেরকে আদেশ করা হবে, এই অপরাধীকে ধর এবং তার গলায় বেড়ি পরিয়ে দাও। অতঃপর তাকে সত্তর গজ দীর্ঘ এক শিকলে গ্রথিত করে দাও। এ শিকল সংক্রান্ত এক বর্ণনা হাদীসে এসেছে, রাসূলুল্লাহ্ সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়া সাল্লাম বলেন, “যদি এ শিকলের একটি গ্রন্থি আসমান থেকে দুনিয়াতে পাঠানো হয় তবে (অতি ভারী হওয়ার কারণে) রাতের আগেই যমীনে এসে পড়বে। যদিও আসমান ও যমীনের মাঝের দূরত্ব পাঁচশত বছরের পথ। আর সেটা যদি শিকলের মাথার অংশ হয় (অর্থাৎ আরো বড় ও ভারী হয়) তারপর যদি তা জাহান্নামে ফেলা হয় তবে সেটা তার নিম্নভাগে পৌঁছতে চল্লিশ বছর লাগবে”। [তিরমিয়ী: ২৫৮৮, মুসনাদে আহমাদ; ২/১৯৭]

<i>, etc.

Tafsir content may span multiple ayahs. QUL exports both the tafsir text and the ayahs it applies to.
