[১] উপরোক্ত অর্থ অনুসারে এটি সিফাতের আয়াত। অর্থাৎ এর মাধ্যমে আল্লাহ্র ডান হাত সাব্যস্ত হচ্ছে। [ইবন তাইমিয়্যাহ, বায়ানু তালবীসুল জাহমিয়্যাহ ৩/৩৩৮] আয়াতের অন্য অর্থ হচ্ছে, আমরা তার ডান হাত পাকড়াও করতাম। উভয় অর্থই ইবন কাসীর উল্লেখ করেছেন। এ অর্থটি এদিক দিয়ে শুদ্ধ যে, সাধারণত কাউকে অপমান করতে হলে তার ডান হাত ধরে তার উপর আক্রমন করা হয়। [ইবন তাইমিয়্যাহ, আন-নুবুওয়াত: ২/৮৯৮] অপর অর্থ হচ্ছে, তাকে আমরা আমাদের ক্ষমতা দ্বারা পাকড়াও করতাম। [সা'দী; জালালাইন; আর দেখুন, ইবন তাইমিয়্যাহ, আস-সারেমুল মাসলূল আলা শাতিমির রাসূল: ১৭] এটি শুদ্ধ হলেও আল্লাহ্র হাত অস্বীকার করার কোন উপায় নেই। যা অন্যান্য আয়াত ও হাদীস দ্বারা প্রমাণিত।
