وَكَمْ
And how many
أَهْلَكْنَا
We have destroyed
مِن
of
قَرْيَةٍۭ
a town
بَطِرَتْ
which exulted
مَعِيشَتَهَا
(in) its means of livelihood
فَتِلْكَ
And these
مَسَٰكِنُهُمْ
(are) their dwellings
لَمْ
not
تُسْكَن
have been inhabited
مِّنۢ
after them
بَعْدِهِمْ
after them
إِلَّا
except
قَلِيلًا
a little
وَكُنَّا
And indeed,[We]
نَحْنُ
We
ٱلْوَٰرِثِينَ
(are) the inheritors
