وَإِذَا

And when

غَشِيَهُم

covers them

مَّوْجٌ

a wave

كَٱلظُّلَلِ

like canopies

دَعَوُا۟

they call

ٱللَّهَ

Allah

مُخْلِصِينَ

(being) sincere

لَهُ

to Him

ٱلدِّينَ

(in) religion

فَلَمَّا

But when

نَجَّىٰهُمْ

He delivers them

إِلَى

to

ٱلْبَرِّ

the land

فَمِنْهُم

then among them

مُّقْتَصِدٌ

(some are) moderate

وَمَا

And not

يَجْحَدُ

deny

بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ

Our Signs

إِلَّا

except

كُلُّ

every

خَتَّارٍ

traitor

كَفُورٍ

ungrateful
