أَشِحَّةً
Miserly
عَلَيْكُمْ
towards you
فَإِذَا
But when
جَآءَ
comes
ٱلْخَوْفُ
the fear
رَأَيْتَهُمْ
you see them
يَنظُرُونَ
looking
إِلَيْكَ
at you
تَدُورُ
revolving
أَعْيُنُهُمْ
their eyes
كَٱلَّذِى
like one who
يُغْشَىٰ
faints
عَلَيْهِ
faints
مِنَ
from
ٱلْمَوْتِ
[the] death
فَإِذَا
But when
ذَهَبَ
departs
ٱلْخَوْفُ
the fear
سَلَقُوكُم
they smite you
بِأَلْسِنَةٍ
with tongues
حِدَادٍ
sharp
أَشِحَّةً
miserly
عَلَى
towards
ٱلْخَيْرِ
the good
أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ
Those
لَمْ
not
يُؤْمِنُوا۟
they have believed
فَأَحْبَطَ
so Allah made worthless
ٱللَّهُ
so Allah made worthless
أَعْمَٰلَهُمْ
their deeds
وَكَانَ
And is
ذَٰلِكَ
that
عَلَى
for
ٱللَّهِ
Allah
يَسِيرًا
easy
