ثُمَّ

Then

ٱسْتَوَىٰٓ

He directed (Himself)

إِلَى

towards

ٱلسَّمَآءِ

the heaven

وَهِىَ

while it (was)

دُخَانٌ

smoke

فَقَالَ

and He said

لَهَا

to it

وَلِلْأَرْضِ

and to the earth

ٱئْتِيَا

Come both of you

طَوْعًا

willingly

أَوْ

or

كَرْهًا

unwillingly

قَالَتَآ

They both said

أَتَيْنَا

We come

طَآئِعِينَ

willingly
