The first word of verse (2:45) is divided into 3 morphological segments. A conjunction, verb and subject pronoun. The prefixed conjunction wa is usually translated as "and". The form X imperative verb (فعل أمر) is second person masculine plural. The verb's triliteral root is ʿayn wāw nūn (ع و ن). The suffix (الواو) is an attached subject pronoun.
