وَءَاخَرُونَ ٱعۡتَرَفُواْ بِذُنُوبِهِمۡ خَلَطُواْ عَمَلٗا صَٰلِحٗا وَءَاخَرَ سَيِّئًا عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَتُوبَ عَلَيۡهِمۡۚ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ غَفُورٞ رَّحِيمٌ ١٠٢

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

Some others have confessed their wrongdoing: they have mixed goodness with evil.¹ It is right to hope that Allah will turn to them in mercy. Surely Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

And (there are) others who have acknowledged their sins, they have mixed a deed that was righteous with another that was evil. Perhaps Allâh will turn unto them in forgiveness. Surely, Allâh is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.¹
