قَالَ بَلۡ سَوَّلَتۡ لَكُمۡ أَنفُسُكُمۡ أَمۡرٗاۖ فَصَبۡرٞ جَمِيلٌۖ عَسَى ٱللَّهُ أَن يَأۡتِيَنِي بِهِمۡ جَمِيعًاۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلۡعَلِيمُ ٱلۡحَكِيمُ ٨٣

Rashid Maash:

Le père répliqua : « Voilà plutôt un forfait que vous vous êtes plu à tramer. Il ne me reste plus qu’à m’armer de patience avec la plus grande dignité. Allah, l’Omniscient, l’infiniment Sage, me les rendra peut-être tous un jour. »

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Alors [Jacob] dit: “Plutôt, vos âmes vous inspiré [d’entreprendre] quelque chose! Oh Belle patience! Il se peut qu’Allah me les ramènera tous (Joseph, Benjamin et leur frère aîné Ruben). Car c’est Lui l’Omniscient, le Sage.”
