1 ۞ لَّيۡسَ It is not ހެޔޮކަމެއްކަމުގައި ނުވެއެވެ.
2 ٱلۡبِرَّ [the] righteousness *
3 أَن that ކަލޭމެންގެ މޫނުތައް އެނބުރުން.
4 تُوَلُّواْ you turn *
5 وُجُوهَكُمۡ your faces *
6 قِبَلَ towards مَشْرِق ފަރާތަށާއި مَغْرِب ފަރާތަށް.
7 ٱلۡمَشۡرِقِ the east *
8 وَٱلۡمَغۡرِبِ and the west *
9 وَلَٰكِنَّ [and] but އަދި އެހެނެއްކަމަކަމަކު ހެޔޮކަމަކީ ހެވަކީ.
10 ٱلۡبِرَّ the righteous[ness] *
11 مَنۡ (is he) who ﷲ އަށް އީމާންވީމީހެކެވެ. / ނުވަތަ ﷲ އަށް އީމާންވީ މީހަކުކުރާ عَمَل އެވެ.
12 ءَامَنَ believes *
13 بِٱللَّهِ in Allah *
14 وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ and the Day އަދި آخرة ދުވަހަށާއި އަދި މަލާއިކަތްބޭކަލުންނަށާއި.
15 ٱلۡأٓخِرِ [the] Last *
16 وَٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةِ and the Angels *
17 وَٱلۡكِتَٰبِ and the Book އަދި ފޮތަށާއި އަދި ނަބީބޭކަލުންނަށާއި.
18 وَٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ and the Prophets *
19 وَءَاتَى and gives އަދި މުދާ ދިނުމާއި.
20 ٱلۡمَالَ the wealth *
21 عَلَىٰ in އޭގެމައްޗަށް ލޯބިހުރުމާއެކު.
22 حُبِّهِۦ spite of his love (for it) *
23 ذَوِي (to) those ގާތްތިމާގެމީހުންނަށާއި އަދި يَتِيْمُ ންނަށް.
24 ٱلۡقُرۡبَىٰ (of) the near relatives *
25 وَٱلۡيَتَٰمَىٰ and the orphans *
26 وَٱلۡمَسَٰكِينَ and the needy އަދި مِسْكِيْن ންނަށާއި ދަތުރުވެރިންނަށާއި.
27 وَٱبۡنَ and (of) *
28 ٱلسَّبِيلِ the wayfarer *
29 وَٱلسَّآئِلِينَ and those who ask އަދި ސަލާމްޖަހާ މީހުންނަށާއި.
30 وَفِي and in އަދި އަޅުން މިނިވަންކުރުމަށާއި.
31 ٱلرِّقَابِ freeing the necks (slaves) *
32 وَأَقَامَ and (who) establish އަދި ނަމާދު قَائِمُ ކުރުމާއި.
33 ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ the prayer *
34 وَءَاتَى and give އަދި ޒަކާތްދިނުމާއި.
35 ٱلزَّكَوٰةَ the zakah *
36 وَٱلۡمُوفُونَ and those who fulfill އަދި އެމީހުންގެ عَهْدُ ފުއްދާމީހުންނެވެ.
37 بِعَهۡدِهِمۡ their covenant *
38 إِذَا when އެމީހުން عَهْد އެއް ކޮށްފިއްޔާ.
39 عَٰهَدُواْۖ they make it *
40 وَٱلصَّٰبِرِينَ and those who are patient އަދި ކެތްތެރިވާމީހުންނާއި.
41 فِي in فَقِيْر ކަމުގައްޔާއި ބަލިމަޑުކަމުގައްޔާއި.
42 ٱلۡبَأۡسَآءِ [the] suffering *
43 وَٱلضَّرَّآءِ and [the] hardship *
44 وَحِينَ and (the) time އަދި ހަނގުރާމަ ގަދަވާހިނދުގައްޔާއި.
45 ٱلۡبَأۡسِۗ (of) [the] stress *
46 أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ Those އެމީހުންނަކީ (އެމީހުންގެބަސް) ތެދުކުރިމީހުންނެވެ. (އީމާންވީކަމަށް ބުނިބަސް ތެދުކުރި މީހުންނެވެ.)
47 ٱلَّذِينَ (are) the ones who *
48 صَدَقُواْۖ are true *
49 وَأُوْلَٰٓئِكَ and those އަދި ކަނޑައެޅިގެން އެމީހުން އެއީ تَقْوَى ވެރިންނެވެ.
50 هُمُ [they] *
51 ٱلۡمُتَّقُونَ (are) the righteous *
