1 شَهۡرُ Month رَمَضَان މަސް އެއީ.
2 رَمَضَانَ (of) Ramadhaan *
3 ٱلَّذِيٓ (is) that އެމައްސަރެއްގައި ބާވައިލެއްވުނު މައްސަރެވެ.
4 أُنزِلَ was revealed *
5 فِيهِ therein *
6 ٱلۡقُرۡءَانُ the Quran ކީރިތި قرآن.
7 هُدٗى a Guidance މީސްތަކުންނަށްވާ ތެދުމަގެއްގެގޮތުން.
8 لِّلنَّاسِ for mankind *
9 وَبَيِّنَٰتٖ and clear proofs ތެދުމަގުގެތެރެއިން بَيَان ވެގެންވާ إرشاد ތަކާއި (حلال އާއި حَرَام އާއި حكم ތަކުގެ).
10 مِّنَ of *
11 ٱلۡهُدَىٰ [the] Guidance *
12 وَٱلۡفُرۡقَانِۚ and the Criterion حقّ އާއި بَاطِلُ ވަކިކޮށްދޭ إرشاد ތަކާއި.
13 فَمَن So whoever ފަހެ ކަލޭމެންގެތެރެއިން އެމަސްދެކެފިމީހާ / ނުވަތަ އެމަހު حَاضِر ވެހުރެއްޖެމީހާ.
14 شَهِدَ witnesses *
15 مِنكُمُ among you *
16 ٱلشَّهۡرَ the month *
17 فَلۡيَصُمۡهُۖ then he should fast in it ފަހެ އެމަހު ރޯދަހިފާހުށިކަމެވެ.
18 وَمَن and whoever އަދި ބަލިމީހަކުކަމުގައިވެއްޖެމީހާ.
19 كَانَ is *
20 مَرِيضًا sick *
21 أَوۡ or ނުވަތަ ދަތުރެއްގައިވާމީހާ.
22 عَلَىٰ on *
23 سَفَرٖ a journey *
24 فَعِدَّةٞ then prescribed number (should be made up) ފަހެ عدد ހަމަކުރާށެވެ!
25 مِّنۡ from އެހެން ދުވަސްތަކެއްގައި.
26 أَيَّامٍ days *
27 أُخَرَۗ other *
28 يُرِيدُ Intends ﷲ ކަލޭމެންނަށްޓަކައި އެދިވޮޑިގަންނަވަނީ ލުއިކޮށްދެއްވުމަށެވެ.
29 ٱللَّهُ Allah *
30 بِكُمُ for you *
31 ٱلۡيُسۡرَ [the] ease *
32 وَلَا and not އަދި އެކަލާނގެ ކަލޭމެނަށް ދަތިއުނދަގޫގޮތް އެދިވޮޑި ނުގަންނަވައެވެ.
33 يُرِيدُ intends *
34 بِكُمُ for you *
35 ٱلۡعُسۡرَ [the] hardship *
36 وَلِتُكۡمِلُواْ so that you complete އަދި ކަލޭމެން عدد ފުރިހަމަކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
37 ٱلۡعِدَّةَ the prescribed period *
38 وَلِتُكَبِّرُواْ and that you magnify އަދި ކަލޭމެން ﷲ އަށް تَكْبِير ކިއުމަށެވެ.
39 ٱللَّهَ Allah *
40 عَلَىٰ for އެކަލާނގެ ކަލޭމެންނަށް ތެދުމަގުދެއްވިކަމަށްޓަކައި.
41 مَا [what] *
42 هَدَىٰكُمۡ He guided you *
43 وَلَعَلَّكُمۡ so that you may އަދި ކަލޭމެން شكر ކުރުމަށްޓަކައެވެ.
44 تَشۡكُرُونَ (be) grateful *
