وَمَآ أَرۡسَلۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِكَ إِلَّا رِجَالٗا نُّوحِيٓ إِلَيۡهِمۡۖ فَسۡـَٔلُوٓاْ أَهۡلَ ٱلذِّكۡرِ إِن كُنتُمۡ لَا تَعۡلَمُونَ ٤٣

Abdul Hameed Baqavi:

(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்னர் வஹ்யி அறிவித்து நாம் அவர்களிடம் அனுப்பிவைத்த தூதர்களெல்லாம் ஆடவர்கள்தான். ஆகவே, (இவர்களை நோக்கி) ‘‘நீங்கள் (இதை) அறிந்து கொள்ளாமலிருந்தால் (முந்திய வேதங்களைக்) கற்றோரிடம் கேட்டறிந்து கொள்ளுங்கள்'' (என்று கூறுவீராக.)

Tamil Translation - Omar Sharif - Abridged Version:

(நபியே!) உமக்கு முன்பு நாம் (தூதர்களாக மனித) ஆடவர்களைத் தவிர (வானவர்களை) அனுப்பவில்லை. அ(ந்த ஆட)வர்களுக்கு நாம் வஹ்யி அறிவிப்போம். ஆகவே, (இவர்களை நோக்கி) “நீங்கள் (இதை) அறியாதவர்களாக இருந்தால் (உண்மையான இறை வேதத்தின்) ஞானமுடையவர்களைக் கேளுங்கள்” (என்று கூறுவீராக!).
