وَلَا تَقۡفُ مَا لَيۡسَ لَكَ بِهِۦ عِلۡمٌۚ إِنَّ ٱلسَّمۡعَ وَٱلۡبَصَرَ وَٱلۡفُؤَادَ كُلُّ أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ كَانَ عَنۡهُ مَسۡـُٔولٗا ٣٦

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

Do not follow what you have no ˹sure˺ knowledge of. Indeed, all will be called to account for ˹their˺ hearing, sight, and intellect.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

And follow not (O man i.e., say not, or do not or witness not) that of which you have no knowledge.¹ Verily! The hearing, and the sight, and the heart, of each of those one will be questioned (by Allâh).
