۞ فَخَلَفَ مِنۢ بَعۡدِهِمۡ خَلۡفٌ أَضَاعُواْ ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ وَٱتَّبَعُواْ ٱلشَّهَوَٰتِۖ فَسَوۡفَ يَلۡقَوۡنَ غَيًّا ٥٩

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

But they were succeeded by generations who neglected prayer and followed their lusts and so will soon face the evil consequences.¹

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

Then, there has succeeded them a posterity who have given up As-Salât (the prayers) [i.e. made their Salât (prayers) to be lost, either by not offering them or by not offering them perfectly or by not offering them in their proper fixed times] and have followed lusts.¹ So they will be thrown in Hell.
