1 وَٱلۡمُطَلَّقَٰتُ And the women who are divorced އަދި ވަރިވެވުނު އަންހެނުން.
2 يَتَرَبَّصۡنَ shall wait އެކަނބަލުން إنتظار ކުރާހުށިކަމެވެ!
3 بِأَنفُسِهِنَّ concerning themselves އެކަނބަލުންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކަށް.
4 ثَلَٰثَةَ (for) three ތިން قُرُو (ތިން حيض ނުވަތަ ތިން طُهُرُ).
5 قُرُوٓءٖۚ monthly periods *
6 وَلَا And (it is) not އަދި އެކަނބަލުންނަށް حلال ނުވާނެއެވެ.
7 يَحِلُّ lawful *
8 لَهُنَّ for them *
9 أَن that އެކަނބަލުން ވަންހަނާކުރުން.
10 يَكۡتُمۡنَ they conceal *
11 مَا what ﷲ ހައްދަވާފައިވާ އެއްޗެއް.
12 خَلَقَ (has been) created *
13 ٱللَّهُ (by) Allah *
14 فِيٓ in އެކަނބަލުންގެ رَحِمُ ގައި.
15 أَرۡحَامِهِنَّ their wombs *
16 إِن if އެކަނބަލުން ﷲ އަށް އީމާންވެގެންވަންޏާ.
17 كُنَّ they *
18 يُؤۡمِنَّ believe *
19 بِٱللَّهِ in Allah *
20 وَٱلۡيَوۡمِ and the Day އަދި آخرة ދުވަހަށާއި.
21 ٱلۡأٓخِرِۚ [the] Last *
22 وَبُعُولَتُهُنَّ And their husbands އަދި އެކަނބަލުންގެ ފިރިން.
23 أَحَقُّ (have) better right އެކަނބަލުން ރައްދުކުރުމަށް حقّ ކަންބޮޑެވެ.
24 بِرَدِّهِنَّ to take them back *
25 فِي in އެކަމުގައި.
26 ذَٰلِكَ that (period) *
27 إِنۡ if އެމީހުން إصْلاَحُ ވުމަށް އެދެންޏާ.
28 أَرَادُوٓاْ they wish *
29 إِصۡلَٰحٗاۚ (for) reconciliation *
30 وَلَهُنَّ And for them އަދި އެކަނބަލުންނަށްވެއެވެ.
31 مِثۡلُ (is the) like އެފަދަ ފެންވަރުގެ އެހެނިހެން އަންހެނުންނަށްވެސް ހުންނަ ފެންވަރު.
32 ٱلَّذِي (of) that which *
33 عَلَيۡهِنَّ (is) on them *
34 بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِۚ in a reasonable manner ހެޔޮކަމާއި إحسان ގެގޮތުން.
35 وَلِلرِّجَالِ and for the men އަދި ފިރިހެނުންނަށްޓަކައި އެކަނބަލުންގެމައްޗަށް واجب ވެގެންވެއެވެ.
36 عَلَيۡهِنَّ over them *
37 دَرَجَةٞۗ (is) a degree خاصّ މަތީ ދަރަޖައެއް.
38 وَٱللَّهُ And Allah އަދި ﷲ އީ عِزّة ވަންތަ حكمة ވަންތަ ކަލާނގެއެވެ.
39 عَزِيزٌ (is) All-Mighty *
40 حَكِيمٌ All-Wise *
