أَفَلَمۡ يَهۡدِ لَهُمۡ كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّنَ ٱلۡقُرُونِ يَمۡشُونَ فِي مَسَٰكِنِهِمۡۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَأٓيَٰتٖ لِّأُوْلِي ٱلنُّهَىٰ ١٢٨

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

फिर क्या इस बात ने उन्हें मार्गदर्शन नहीं दिया कि हमने उनसे पहले कितने ही समुदायों को विनष्ट कर दिया, जिनके घरों में वे चलते-फिरते हैं। निःसंदेह इसमें बुद्धियों वालों के लिए निश्चय बहुत-सी निशानियाँ हैं।

तो क्या उन (अहले मक्का) को उस (खुदा) ने ये नहीं बता दिया था कि हमने उनके पहले कितने लोगों को हलाक कर डाला जिनके घरों में ये लोग चलते फिरते हैं इसमें शक नहीं कि उसमें अक्लमंदों के लिए (कुदरते खुदा की) यक़ीनी बहुत सी निशानियाँ हैं
