Text Uthmani:

لَوۡ أَرَدۡنَآ أَن نَّتَّخِذَ لَهۡوٗا لَّٱتَّخَذۡنَٰهُ مِن لَّدُنَّآ إِن كُنَّا فَٰعِلِينَ ١٧

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Si nous avions voulu prendre une distraction, Nous l’aurions prise de Nous- mêmes, si vraiment Nous avions voulu le faire.

Rashid Maash:

Si Nous avions voulu une distraction, Nous l’aurions trouvée auprès de Nous. Si telle avait été notre intention.
