وَمِنَ ٱلنَّاسِ مَن يَعۡبُدُ ٱللَّهَ عَلَىٰ حَرۡفٖۖ فَإِنۡ أَصَابَهُۥ خَيۡرٌ ٱطۡمَأَنَّ بِهِۦۖ وَإِنۡ أَصَابَتۡهُ فِتۡنَةٌ ٱنقَلَبَ عَلَىٰ وَجۡهِهِۦ خَسِرَ ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِينُ ١١

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Il en est parmi les gens qui adorent Allah marginalement . S’il leur arrive un bien, ils s’en tranquillisent, et s’il leur arrive une épreuve, ils détournent leur visage, perdant ainsi (le bien) de l’ici-bas et l’au-delà. Telle est la perte évidente !¹

Rashid Maash:

Il est aussi des hommes dont la foi en Allah est chancelante¹. S’ils jouissent du bonheur, ils demeurent sereinement attachés à la foi, mais s’ils subissent un malheur, ils font volte-face pour retourner à l’impiété, provoquant ainsi leur ruine ici-bas et dans l’au-delà. Est-il ruine plus évidente ?

19	خَسِرَ	He has lost	ayant perdu
20	ٱلدُّنۡيَا	the world	(dans) l’ici-bas
21	وَٱلۡأٓخِرَةَۚ	and the Hereafter	et l’au-delà.
22	ذَٰلِكَ	That	Celle-là
23	هُوَ	[it]	(est) elle
24	ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ	(is) the loss	la perte
25	ٱلۡمُبِينُ	clear	claire.
