أَفَلَمۡ يَسِيرُواْ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ فَتَكُونَ لَهُمۡ قُلُوبٞ يَعۡقِلُونَ بِهَآ أَوۡ ءَاذَانٞ يَسۡمَعُونَ بِهَاۖ فَإِنَّهَا لَا تَعۡمَى ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ وَلَٰكِن تَعۡمَى ٱلۡقُلُوبُ ٱلَّتِي فِي ٱلصُّدُورِ ٤٦

Suhel Farooq Khan:

क्या ये लोग रूए ज़मीन पर चले फिरे नहीं ताकि उनके लिए ऐसे दिल होते हैं जैसे हक़ बातों को समझते या उनके ऐसे कान होते जिनके ज़रिए से (सच्ची बातों को) सुनते क्योंकि ऑंखें अंधी नहीं हुआ करती बल्कि दिल जो सीने में है वही अन्धे हो जाया करते हैं

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

तो क्या वे धरती में चले-फिरे नहीं कि उनके लिए ऐसे दिल हों, जिनसे वे समझें, या ऐसे कान हों, जिनसे वे सुनें। निःसंदेह आँखें अंधी नहीं होतीं, लेकिन वे दिल अंधे होते हैं, जो सीनों में हैं।¹
