كَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا مِن قَبۡلِهِم مِّن قَرۡنٖ فَنَادَواْ وَّلَاتَ حِينَ مَنَاصٖ ٣

हमने इनसे पहले कितने ही समुदायों को विनष्ट कर दिया, तो उन्होंने पुकारा। और वह बच निकलने का समय नहीं था।

हमने उन से पहले कितने गिरोह हलाक कर डाले तो (अज़ाब के वक्त) ये लोग चीख़ उठे मगर छुटकारे का वक्त ही न रहा था
