ثُمَّ ٱسۡتَوَىٰٓ إِلَى ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَهِيَ دُخَانٞ فَقَالَ لَهَا وَلِلۡأَرۡضِ ٱئۡتِيَا طَوۡعًا أَوۡ كَرۡهٗا قَالَتَآ أَتَيۡنَا طَآئِعِينَ ١١

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Il S’est ensuite occupé du ciel qui était alors fumée et lui dit, ainsi qu’à la terre : "Venez tous deux, bon gré, mal gré." Tous deux dirent : "Nous venons obéissants."

Rashid Maash:

Puis Il a procédé à la création du ciel, qui n’était alors que fumée¹, en lui disant, ainsi qu’à la terre : « Soumettez-vous de gré ou de force. » Ils dirent : « Nous nous soumettons de notre plein gré. »
