Text Uthmani:

وَمَا نُرِيهِم مِّنۡ ءَايَةٍ إِلَّا هِيَ أَكۡبَرُ مِنۡ أُخۡتِهَاۖ وَأَخَذۡنَٰهُم بِٱلۡعَذَابِ لَعَلَّهُمۡ يَرۡجِعُونَ ٤٨

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Chaque miracle que Nous leur montrions était plus probant que son précédent. Et Nous les saisîmes par châtiment, peut-être reviendront-ils [vers Nous].

Rashid Maash:

Nous ne leur avons pourtant montré aucun miracle qui ne fût plus prodigieux que le précédent, les soumettant à toutes sortes de calamités afin qu’ils renoncent à leur impiété.
