فَتَلَقَّىٰٓ ءَادَمُ مِن رَّبِّهِۦ كَلِمَٰتٖ فَتَابَ عَلَيۡهِۚ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلتَّوَّابُ ٱلرَّحِيمُ ٣٧

Dr. Mustafa Khattab, the Clear Quran:

Then Adam was inspired with words ˹of prayer˺ by his Lord,¹ so He accepted his repentance. Surely He is the Accepter of Repentance, Most Merciful.

Muhammad Taqi-ud-Din al-Hilali & Muhammad Muhsin Khan:

Then Adam received from his Lord Words.¹ And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who forgives (accepts repentance), the Most Merciful.
