17 وَٱللَّهُ And Allah zhēn zhǔ | hé
18 أَعۡلَمُ knows best zhì zhī
19 بِإِيمَٰنِكُمۚ about your faith nǐ men de | xìn yǎng | zài
20 بَعۡضُكُم You nǐ men de | yī bù fèn
21 مِّنۢ (are) from cóng
22 بَعۡضٖۚ (one) another yī bù fèn
23 فَٱنكِحُوهُنَّ So marry them tā men | nǐ men jié hūn | yīn cǐ
24 بِإِذۡنِ with (the) permission yǔn xǔ | zài
25 أَهۡلِهِنَّ (of) their family tā men de | zhòng jiān hù rén de
26 وَءَاتُوهُنَّ and give them tā men | nǐ men gěi | hé
27 أُجُورَهُنَّ their bridal due tā men de | pìn yí
28 بِٱلۡمَعۡرُوفِ in a fair manner yí gè zhào lì | zài
29 مُحۡصَنَٰتٍ (They should be) chaste zhēn jié de

35 فَإِذَآ Then when dāng | rán hòu
36 أُحۡصِنَّ they are married tā men jié hūn
37 فَإِنۡ and if rú guǒ | rán hòu
38 أَتَيۡنَ they commit tā men zuò
39 بِفَٰحِشَةٖ adultery chǒu shì | zài
40 فَعَلَيۡهِنَّ then for them tā men | zài | rán hòu
41 نِصۡفُ (is) half yí bàn
42 مَا (of) what shén me
43 عَلَى (is) on zài
44 ٱلۡمُحۡصَنَٰتِ the free chaste women zì yóu nǚ
45 مِنَ of cóng
46 ٱلۡعَذَابِۚ the punishment xíng fá
47 ذَٰلِكَ That zhè gè
48 لِمَنۡ (is) for whoever shuí | wèi
49 خَشِيَ fears tā wèi jù
50 ٱلۡعَنَتَ committing sin zuì
