وَٱتَّقُواْ يَوۡمٗا لَّا تَجۡزِي نَفۡسٌ عَن نَّفۡسٖ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يُقۡبَلُ مِنۡهَا شَفَٰعَةٞ وَلَا يُؤۡخَذُ مِنۡهَا عَدۡلٞ وَلَا هُمۡ يُنصَرُونَ ٤٨

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Et redoutez le jour où nulle âme ne suffira en quoi que ce soit à une autre; où l’on n’acceptera d’elle aucune intercession; et où on ne recevra d’elle aucune compensation. Et ils ne seront point secourus.

Rashid Maash:

Craignez le Jour¹ où nul ne pourra rien pour son prochain, où nulle intercession ne sera acceptée sans l’autorisation d’Allah, où nul ne pourra racheter son âme et nul ne pourra être sauvé s’il meurt dans l’impiété.
