يَٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡخَمۡرُ وَٱلۡمَيۡسِرُ وَٱلۡأَنصَابُ وَٱلۡأَزۡلَٰمُ رِجۡسٞ مِّنۡ عَمَلِ ٱلشَّيۡطَٰنِ فَٱجۡتَنِبُوهُ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تُفۡلِحُونَ ٩٠

Suhel Farooq Khan:

ऐ ईमानदारों शराब, जुआ और बुत और पाँसे तो बस नापाक (बुरे) शैतानी काम हैं तो तुम लोग इससे बचे रहो ताकि तुम फलाह पाओ

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

ऐ ईमान वालो! बात यही है कि शराब¹, जुआ, देवथान² और फ़ाल निकालने के तीर³ सर्वथा गंदे और शैतानी कार्य हैं। अतः इनसे दूर रहो, ताकि तुम सफल हो।
