ثُمَّ لَمۡ تَكُن فِتۡنَتُهُمۡ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُواْ وَٱللَّهِ رَبِّنَا مَا كُنَّا مُشۡرِكِينَ ٢٣

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Alors, il ne leur restera comme excuse que de dire : "Par Allah, notre Seigneur ! Nous n’étions jamais des associateurs."

Rashid Maash:

Pour toute réponse, ils jureront : « Par Allah, notre Seigneur ! Nous n’avons jamais été idolâtres. »
