| 17 | أَفَكُلَّمَا | Is it (not) so (that) whenever | کیا بھلا جب کبھی |
| 18 | جَآءَكُمۡ | came to you | لایا تمہارے پاس |
| 19 | رَسُولُۢ | a Messenger | کوئی رسول |
| 20 | بِمَا | with what | ساتھ اس کے جو |
| 21 | لَا | (does) not | نہیں |
| 22 | تَهۡوَىٰٓ | desire | چاہتے تھے (اسے) |
| 23 | أَنفُسُكُمُ | yourselves | تمہارے دل |
| 24 | ٱسۡتَكۡبَرۡتُمۡ | you acted arrogantly | تکبر کیا تم نے |
| 25 | فَفَرِيقٗا | So a party | تو ایک گروہ کو |
| 26 | كَذَّبۡتُمۡ | you denied | جھٹلایا تم نے |
| 27 | وَفَرِيقٗا | and a party | اور گروہ کو |
| 28 | تَقۡتُلُونَ | you kill(ed) | تم قتل کرتے رہے |
