فَمَا كَانَ دَعۡوَىٰهُمۡ إِذۡ جَآءَهُم بَأۡسُنَآ إِلَّآ أَن قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّا كُنَّا ظَٰلِمِينَ ٥

So war ihr Ausruf, als Unsere Gewalt über sie kam, nur, daß sie sagten: Wir haben gewiß Unrecht getan.

So war ihr Ausruf, als Unsere (strafende) Härte über sie kam, nur, dass sie sagten: „Wir waren fürwahr Ungerechte.“
