( قَالُواْ ياويلنا ) أى : يا هلاكنا ويا حسرتنا . . ( إِنَّا كُنَّا طَاغِينَ ) أى : إنا كنا متجاوزين لحدودنا ، وفاسقين عن أمر ربنا ، عندما صممنا على البخل بما أعطانا - سبحانه - من فضله .
