Commentary explaining the meaning of the ayahs. One passage often covers several ayahs, so neighbouring ayahs can show the same text.
( عسى رَبُّنَآ ) بفضله وإحسانه ( أَن يُبْدِلَنَا خَيْراً مِّنْهَآ ) أى : أن يعطينا ما هو خير منها ( إِنَّآ إلى رَبِّنَا ) لا إلى غيره ( رَاغِبُونَ ) أى : راغبون فى عطائه ، راجعون إليه بالتوبة والندم . .
قال الآلوسى : قال مجاهد : إنهم تابوا فأبدلهم الله - تعالى - خيرا منها . وحكى عن الحسن : التوقف وسئل قتادة عنهم : أهم من أهل الجنة أم من أهل النار؟ فقال للسائل : لقد كلفتنى تعبا . .
