أَذَقْنَا
We cause people to taste
ٱلنَّاسَ
We cause people to taste
رَحْمَةً
mercy
فَرِحُوا۟
they rejoice
بِهَا
therein
وَإِن
But if
تُصِبْهُمْ
afflicts them
سَيِّئَةٌۢ
an evil
بِمَا
for what
قَدَّمَتْ
have sent forth
أَيْدِيهِمْ
their hands
إِذَا
behold
هُمْ
They
يَقْنَطُونَ
despair
