Text Uthmani:

وَيَقُولُونَ لَوۡلَآ أُنزِلَ عَلَيۡهِ ءَايَةٞ مِّن رَّبِّهِۦۖ فَقُلۡ إِنَّمَا ٱلۡغَيۡبُ لِلَّهِ فَٱنتَظِرُوٓاْ إِنِّي مَعَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡمُنتَظِرِينَ ٢٠

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Et ils disent : "Que ne fait-on descendre sur lui (Mohammed) un miracle de son Seigneur ?" Alors, dis : "L’inconnaissable relève seulement d’Allah. Attendez donc ! Je serai avec vous parmi ceux qui attendent."¹

Rashid Maash:

Ils disent : « Si seulement son Seigneur lui permettait d’accomplir des miracles ! » Réponds-leur : « Les miracles relèvent du mystère dont Allah seul a connaissance. Attendez donc ! Je suis avec vous parmi ceux qui attendent. »
