وَأَمَّا ٱلۡغُلَٰمُ فَكَانَ أَبَوَاهُ مُؤۡمِنَيۡنِ فَخَشِينَآ أَن يُرۡهِقَهُمَا طُغۡيَٰنٗا وَكُفۡرٗا ٨٠

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

और रहा बालक, तो उसके माता-पिता दोनों ईमान वाले थे। अतः हम डरे कि वह उन दोनों को अवज्ञा और कुफ़्र में फँसा देगा।

Suhel Farooq Khan:

और वह जो लड़का जिसको मैंने मार डाला तो उसके माँ बाप दोनों (सच्चे) ईमानदार हैं तो मुझको ये अन्देशा हुआ कि (ऐसा न हो कि बड़ा होकर) उनको भी अपने सरकशी और कुफ़्र में फँसा दे
