وَكَمۡ أَهۡلَكۡنَا قَبۡلَهُم مِّن قَرۡنٍ هُمۡ أَحۡسَنُ أَثَٰثٗا وَرِءۡيٗا ٧٤

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

और हम इनसे पहले कितनी ही जातियों को नष्ट कर चुके हैं, जो जीवन-साधन और शक्ल-सूरत (वेशभूषा) में कहीं अधिक अच्छी थीं।

हालाँकि हमने उनसे पहले बहुत सी जमाअतों को हलाक कर छोड़ा जो उनसे साज़ो सामान और ज़ाहिरी नमूद में कहीं बढ़ चढ़ के थी
