كُلُّ نَفۡسٖ ذَآئِقَةُ ٱلۡمَوۡتِۗ وَنَبۡلُوكُم بِٱلشَّرِّ وَٱلۡخَيۡرِ فِتۡنَةٗۖ وَإِلَيۡنَا تُرۡجَعُونَ ٣٥

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

हर जीव को मौत का स्वाद चखना है। और हम अच्छी तथा बुरी परिस्थितियों से तुम्हारी परीक्षा करते हैं तथा तुम हमारी ही ओर लौटाए जाओगे।

Suhel Farooq Khan:

(हर शख्स एक न एक दिन) मौत का मज़ा चखने वाला है और हम तुम्हें मुसीबत व राहत में इम्तिहान की ग़रज़ से आज़माते हैं और (आख़िकार) हमारी ही तरफ लौटाए जाओगे
