يَوۡمَ تَرَوۡنَهَا تَذۡهَلُ كُلُّ مُرۡضِعَةٍ عَمَّآ أَرۡضَعَتۡ وَتَضَعُ كُلُّ ذَاتِ حَمۡلٍ حَمۡلَهَا وَتَرَى ٱلنَّاسَ سُكَٰرَىٰ وَمَا هُم بِسُكَٰرَىٰ وَلَٰكِنَّ عَذَابَ ٱللَّهِ شَدِيدٞ ٢

Suhel Farooq Khan:

जिस दिन तुम उसे देख लोगे तो हर दूध पिलाने वाली (डर के मारे) अपने दूध पीते (बच्चे) को भूल जायेगी और सारी हामला औरते अपने-अपने हमल (बेहिश्त से) गिरा देगी और (घबराहट में) लोग तुझे मतवाले मालूम होंगे हालाँकि वह मतवाले नहीं हैं बल्कि खुदा का अज़ाब बहुत सख्त है कि लोग बदहवास हो रहे हैं

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

जिस दिन तुम उसे देखोगे, (हाल यह होगा कि) हर दूध पिलाने वाली उससे ग़ाफ़िल हो जाएगी जिसे उसने दूध पिलाया, और हर गर्भवती अपना गर्भ गिरा देगी, और तू लोगों को नशे में देखेगा, हालाँकि वे नशे में नहीं होंगे, लेकिन अल्लाह की यातना बहुत कठोर है।¹
