Text Uthmani:

وَٱسۡتَكۡبَرَ هُوَ وَجُنُودُهُۥ فِي ٱلۡأَرۡضِ بِغَيۡرِ ٱلۡحَقِّ وَظَنُّوٓاْ أَنَّهُمۡ إِلَيۡنَا لَا يُرۡجَعُونَ ٣٩

French Translation(Muhammad Hamidullah):

Et il s’enfla d’orgueil sur terre ainsi que ses soldats, sans aucun droit. Et ils pensèrent qu’ils ne seraient pas ramenés vers Nous.

Rashid Maash:

Pharaon et ses armées affichèrent une fierté démesurée dans le pays, refusant injustement la vérité, persuadés qu’ils ne seraient jamais ramenés à Nous.
