وَأَنِيبُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكُمۡ وَأَسۡلِمُواْ لَهُۥ مِن قَبۡلِ أَن يَأۡتِيَكُمُ ٱلۡعَذَابُ ثُمَّ لَا تُنصَرُونَ ٥٤

Suhel Farooq Khan:

और अपने परवरदिगार की तरफ रूजू करो और उसी के फरमाबरदार बन जाओ (मगर) उस वक्त क़े क़ब्ल ही कि तुम पर जब अज़ाब आ नाज़िल हो (और) फिर तुम्हारी मदद न की जा सके

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

तथा अपने पालनहार की ओर झुक पड़ो और उसके आज्ञाकारी हो जाओ, इससे पहले कि तुमपर यातना आ जाए, फिर तुम्हारी सहायता न की जाए।
