فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُواْ فِيٓ أَنفُسِهِمۡ حَرَجٗا مِّمَّا قَضَيۡتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمٗا ٦٥

Suhel Farooq Khan:

पस (ऐ रसूल) तुम्हारे परवरदिगार की क़सम ये लोग सच्चे मोमिन न होंगे तावक्ते क़ि अपने बाहमी झगड़ों में तुमको अपना हाकिम (न) बनाएं फिर (यही नहीं बल्कि) जो कुछ तुम फैसला करो उससे किसी तरह दिलतंग भी न हों बल्कि ख़ुशी ख़ुशी उसको मान लें

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

तो (ऐ नबी!) आपके पालनहार की क़सम! वे कभी ईमान वाले नहीं हो सकते, जब तक अपने आपस के विवाद में आपको निर्णायक¹ न बनाएँ, फिर आप जो निर्णय कर दें, उससे अपने दिलों में तनिक भी तंगी महसूस न करें और उसे पूरी तरह से स्वीकार कर लें।
