1 يَسۡـَٔلُونَكَ They ask you އެމީހުން ކަލޭގެފާނާ ސުވާލުކުރެއެވެ.
2 مَاذَآ what (މަހުގެތެރެއިން) އެމީހުންނަށް حلال ވަނީ ކޮންއެއްޗެއްތޯ؟
3 أُحِلَّ (is) made lawful *
4 لَهُمۡۖ for them *
5 قُلۡ Say ކަލޭގެފާނު ވިދާޅުވާށެވެ!
6 أُحِلَّ Are made lawful ކަލޭމެންނަށް حلال ވެގެންވަނީ ރަނގަޅު حلال ތަކެއްޗެވެ.
7 لَكُمُ for you *
8 ٱلطَّيِّبَٰتُ the good things *
9 وَمَا and what އަދި ކަލޭމެން އުގަންނައިދިން ތަކެއްޗާއި (އެބަހީ ކަލޭމެން އުގަންނައިދިން ޖަނަވާރެއް ގެންނަ ޝިކާރަޔާއި).
10 عَلَّمۡتُم you have taught *
11 مِّنَ of ޝިކާރަކުރާ ޖަނަވާރުގެތެރެއިން. (زَخَمْ ކުރާ ޖަނަވާރުގެ ތެރެއިން).
12 ٱلۡجَوَارِحِ (your) hunting animals *
13 مُكَلِّبِينَ ones who train animals to hunt ކުއްތާޔާ އެހެނިހެން ޝިކާރަކުރާ ތަކެތީގެތެރެއިން ޝިކާރަކުރަން ދަސްކޮށްދީފައިވާ.
14 تُعَلِّمُونَهُنَّ you teach them ކަލޭމެން އެތަކެއްޗަށް ދަސްކޮށްދޭ / އުގަންނައިދޭ.
15 مِمَّا of what ﷲ ކަލޭމެންނަށް އުގަންނަވައިދެއްވި ތަކެތީގެތެރެއިން.
16 عَلَّمَكُمُ has taught you *
17 ٱللَّهُۖ Allah *
18 فَكُلُواْ So eat ފަހެ ކަލޭމެން ކާށެވެ!
19 مِمَّآ of what އެސޮރުމެން ކަލޭމެންނަށް އަތުލައިގަތް އެއްޗެއް.
20 أَمۡسَكۡنَ they catch *
21 عَلَيۡكُمۡ for you *
22 وَٱذۡكُرُواْ but mention އަދި އެއަށް ﷲ ގެ ނަންފުޅުގަންނާށެވެ! (އެބަހީ ކަލޭމެން بسم ކިޔައި އެ ކަތިލާށެވެ!)

25 عَلَيۡهِۖ on it *
26 وَٱتَّقُواْ and fear އަދި ކަލޭމެން ﷲ އަށް ބިރުވެތިވާށެވެ!
