وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمۡ تَعَالَوۡاْ إِلَىٰ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ وَإِلَى ٱلرَّسُولِ قَالُواْ حَسۡبُنَا مَا وَجَدۡنَا عَلَيۡهِ ءَابَآءَنَآۚ أَوَلَوۡ كَانَ ءَابَآؤُهُمۡ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ شَيۡـٔٗا وَلَا يَهۡتَدُونَ ١٠٤

Maulana Azizul Haque al-Umari:

और जब उनसे कहा जाता है : आओ उसकी ओर जो अल्लाह ने उतारा है और रसूल की ओर, तो कहते हैं : हमें वही काफ़ी है, जिसपर हमने अपने बाप-दादा को पाया है। क्या अगरचे उनके बाप-दादा कुछ भी न जानते हों और न मार्गदर्शन पाते हों।

और जब उनसे कहा जाता है कि जो (क़ुरान) ख़ुदा ने नाज़िल फरमाया है उसकी तरफ और रसूल की आओ (और जो कुछ कहे उसे मानों तो कहते हैं कि हमने जिस (रंग) में अपने बाप दादा को पाया वही हमारे लिए काफी है क्या (ये लोग लकीर के फकीर ही रहेंगे) अगरचे उनके बाप दादा न कुछ जानते ही हों न हिदायत ही पायी हो
